Abiomed is present in most markets of the world, representing more than $1 billion of revenue with projected strong growth and premier market positions. The spend in support of this business resides in multiple categories and sums up to 300 million$ per year. In collaboration with the Supply Chain LT he will develop, implement, and drive the global sourcing strategy as well as the global supplier scale strategy which is a crucial element to successfully meet the 5 year growth plan of Abiomed.
