Our tech teams and business units use agile ways of working to create #GlobalHausbank solutions from our home market. Channels Channels is the Corporate Bank Technology domain responsible for delivering Deutsche Bank’s nextgeneration global payment initiation platform. The area is modernizing how corporate clients initiate payments in real time and access balances and statements in near real time. The solution is built on a contemporary technology stack, including Reactbased microfrontends, Java microservices, eventdriven integration using Kafka, and a range of datastores such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, and MongoDB, all deployed in a containerized environment. Corporate Bank Technology has embarked on a multi-year technology refresh program that includes revitalization of "Channel" applications for payment initiation. You will be working on driving the development of global payment initiation platform that has React based micro frontends backed by Java powered micro-services deployed in a containerized environment. The platform uses event streaming over Kafka and varied datastores such as PostgreSQL, Oracle, HBase, MongoDB amongst other open-source software. You'll collaborate with other engineers on the platform embracing agile practices to incrementally add functionality to the platform, with a sharp focus on automation. You will partner with business and technology managers to define modules and enhancements to the application stack that provides Deutsche Bank's clients ability to initiate payments in real time and access to their account balances & statements in near real time. Frontend/Full-stack development is a plusPartner with UI/UX Design Team, Architects, Business Analysts, and Stakeholders situated in multiple regions and time-zones; at varying capacity to understand requirementsBe ready to learn and dig into details of corporate bank cash business to grow as subject matter expertDesign and implement subsystems and intersystem protocols, drive longer-term platform architectural vision.Design and setup test automation approaches from scratch and improve existing processes/approaches together with QA teamMaintain hygiene, risk, control, and stability at the core of every delivery. Investigate and fix production incidents, drive stability and monitoring improvements. Your skills and experiences Senior-level expertise in Java backend development with Spring Boot.Strong experience with MongoDB and familiarity with relational databases.Hands-on knowledge of Google Cloud Platform and experience building microservices and eventdriven systems.Familiarity with Kafka, containerized environments, and distributed system architectures.Proficient with Git, JIRA, Artifactory, Jenkins, and/or TeamCity.Background in highthroughput, businesscritical enterprise platforms (ideally payments/banking) and ability to help define engineering standards in a modernizing organization.
