At the Fraunhofer Institute for Production Technology IPT in Aachen, we work with more than 530 employees every day to ensure that the production of the future becomes more digital, sustainable and resilient. As part of our interdisciplinary team in the area of “Bio-Adaptive Production” you will work on new technologies and therapies for the medicine of tomorrow. You will take into account current new developments in cell and molecular biology (e.g. cell and gene therapies) as well as the opportunities and challenges of process development, scaling and automation of these bioprocesses. What you do with us Development and validation of new concepts for the automation of the production of cell and gene therapiesDevelopment of solution approaches for automated process development, especially with regard to scaling bioprocesses from laboratory to pilot scaleAcquisition, coordination and processing of national and international industrial and research projects in a team
