The position is part of the Engagement Alliance, which strives to provide the family meal experience that fits our customers' lifestyle, rhythm and goals — in the long term and in every single week. We do this by working on continuously improving the box experience of any given week - from planning, anticipation, box receipt, food prep and cooking, and adjustments for the upcoming week(s). We also work on ensuring our customers create healthy habits that will accompany them on their “long term” trajectory to whatever goal they pursue (well-being, convenience, better cooking skills).What you’ll do Lead a tribe with 30+ engineers, split between 5 Engineering Managers and 2 Staff EngineersDrive the development and implementation of complex and scalable systems that meet the needs of the business.Establish and maintain team culture, focusing on transparent communication, innovation on behalf of the customer and empathetic leadership.Hire, inspire, manage, and grow cross-functional engineering teams, ensuring every engineer has great growth opportunities.
Responsibilities + Skills
Ability to lead large, consumer facing teams with a focus on experimentation, lean thinking, and quick iterations.Relevant experience managing engineering managers in a fast-paced dynamic environment.
