The Technical University of Braunschweig with almost 17,800 students and approx. 3,800 employees offers a range of teaching and research with excellent facilities and at the same time a personal atmosphere.With 275 years of experience, the TU is one of the largest training centers in the Braunschweig region. Our 120 training positions in 18 different training occupations are located in laboratories, workshops, in the library, in institute secretariats or in the central administration.Electronics technicians for devices and systems with a focus on communication and information technology are involved in the design of circuits. They select the mechanical, electrical and electronic components, assemble them into devices and systems, install and configure software and check the functions. They also put systems and devices into operation and are responsible for their maintenance.You create device and system documentation including layouts and production documents. The combination of electronics and programming always presents new challenges. Manufacturing your own devices and systems is a great attraction of the training and always leads to a sense of achievement. After their training, trained electronic technicians for devices and systems find employment in medium-sized and larger industrial companies that manufacture, assemble and maintain electronic systems, devices or components.
