Job Description:The position is within Aerostack GmbH, a Joint Venture between Airbus and an automotive company, part of the Airbus strategy to accelerate Zero Emission Aircraft development and build competences and skills in the technology domain. In order to support the R&D Team in Taufkirchen near Munich, a vacancy for a “Specialist for Electrochemical Simulation and Data Management (d/f/m)” has arisen at Aerostack GmbH. The job holder reports operationally and functionally to the Head of R&D at Aerostack AccountabilitiesDefinition of relevant loss mechanisms of fuel cells in operational window with a focus on the cathode catalyst layerDescribing the interaction of loss mechanisms with material propertiesFormulation of relevant electrochemical and physical processes in equationsImplementation in finite element model in cooperation with modelling teamManagement of test data for in-situ and material testingProgramming tools for automatic data handling and analysisFitting of electrochemical model against test data and extraction of material propertiesDeveloping methods for parametrisation of electrochemical models 

Development and maintenance of software tool for data analysisDevelopment and parametrisation of electrochemical model in cooperation with modeling departmentExtraction of material properties from in-situ and ex-situ data
