Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated Cashier to join our team who can work a 5 am shift or a 2:30 p.m. shift with an open-to-closed availability at a bustling restaurant. The ideal candidate will handle transactions accurately and efficiently while providing excellent customer service.Duties- Operate the POS system to process transactions- Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions- Sanitize work areas and maintain cleanliness- Assist customers with menu inquiries and provide recommendations- Upsell additional items to customers- Support food preparation by packaging to-go orders- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth service flow
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
- Experience in cash handling and operating a POS system is preferred- Knowledge of basic math for accurate transactions- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment- Strong time management skills- Familiarity with food handling and restaurant operations is a plus- Excellent customer service skills and willingness to help customersPay: From $18.25 per hour
