Job Description:DEPARTMENT OVERVIEWCo-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. You will work with experienced colleagues, receive world class training, and be part of a community of students across TD, where you will have an impact, grow as individual and experience our culture of care. Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features:Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organizationLunch and Learns on topics such as InnovationDiversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more TD Insurance Compliance supports the Compliance functions for the TD Insurance businesses in Canada. Our mandate includes: Facilitate the management of regulatory risk by proactively advising the businesses on new and changed processes and initiatives.Create awareness of new regulations and legislation impacting the Direct Channels & Insurance, and identify compliance trends, regulatory priorities and emerging compliance risks.Conduct independent oversight and monitoring activities .Employ an integrated approach across different Business Unit Compliance (BUC) groups and with key corporate partners JOB DESCRIPTIONTasks/Projects Co-op/Intern will be re sponsible f or:Conducting research and assessment of regulatory requirementsPreparing assessments of regulatory requirementsReviewing documentation – ( e.g. marketing reviews, digital content, procedure updates, customer communications, disclosure documentation)Assisting with RCM related tasks, supporting RCM leads within TDI ComplianceAssisting with OCMS (various tasks including data collection, assessing reporting needs, gathering user feedback, etc.)Assisting with updating and refreshing TDI Compliance team training materials and resourcesAssisting with project tracking and other various administrative tasksProviding Ad hoc assistance to various TDI Compliance team members, as needed.
