You will be part of a busy department for patients with fractured hips, back surgery, and total joint replacements, and a team that provides acute orthopaedic care, as well as short-term rehabilitation. CP3 Orthopaedics is part of the Total Joint Network, and participates in projects related to care of joint replacement patients and patients with hip fractures. In this unit, there is a staffing mix of both RN’s and RPN’s and the delivery care model is Total Patient Care. You will provide high quality nursing care to patients and their families, based on the philosophy and conceptual framework of Nursing Practice at Scarborough Health Network. You may be scheduled at the General or Birchmount Site based on departmental needs.

Current registration with the College of Nurses of OntarioCurrent BCLS

Two years experience in Acute Medical Nursing or related clinical placement experience for nursing new graduates
