SFU Lifelong Learning, which encompasses SFU Continuing Studies and the SFU English Language and Culture Program, strives to be the leading provider of flexible, responsive education in British Columbia and beyond. In addition to offering non-credit courses and programs for professional and personal development, we engage the community in lifelong learning through a variety of public activities and events.The English Language and Culture Program (ELC) in Lifelong Learning has assisted students in achieving their academic goals. In addition to improving their English skills, students at ELC develop and improve the analytical skills needed for academic success while developing an understanding of Canadian and North American culture. ELC is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and mutual respect and strives to create an environment where all SFU community members can thrive.

Provides day-to-day support and information to the English Language and Culture (ELC) student population. Provides information, help and resources to international students in areas such as medical insurance, homestay and accommodation, and living in the Lower Mainland of British Columbia. Works closely with the ELC Program Coordinator to deliver a range of student support initiatives
