A dynamic work environment focused on customer serviceWeekly payYour responsibilities as a grocery store assistant manager:Executes the instructions of the grocery store manager regarding work assignment, purchasing and receiving merchandise, scheduling workers, order and discipline in the department , etc.Replaces the grocery store manager when the manager is absent and then carries out the latter's tasks (coordinates the department, schedules the employees )s, makes purchases, takes care of promotions, maintains inventories, calculates profits, enters data on computer, etc.)Is responsible for certain purchases of goods for his department from assigned suppliers.Receives representatives of companies with which the department does business.Receives and counts merchandise intended for sale such as groceries, dairy products, frozen products and any other products sold by his department. Ensures that these goods are properly placed in the warehouse, refrigerator, freezer or other location assigned for storage.Labels and shelves, according to department rules, products intended for sale.Makes price changes on shelves and, if necessary, on products in his department.If necessary, rotate merchandise on shelves and keep work areas clean.Is a customer service representative in his department.Ensures that he (she) and employees wear the required safety equipment.

Promotes the sale of the various products and services offered to customers by his department.Performs any other related tasks required by his/her immediate superior.

Experiences:Relevant experience in a grocery department;Management experience is an asset.
