Job Description
We are looking for a skilled and reliable **Maintenance Technician** to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing manufacturing equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations.#Key Responsibilities:* Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and inspection of manufacturing equipment and machinery* Plan and implement preventive maintenance schedules to ensure equipment operates in optimal condition* Diagnose faults and carry out timely repairs on mechanical and electrical systems* Conduct routine inspections and address issues as they arise* Carry out calibration and verification of machinery, equipment, and measuring instruments* Maintain tools and equipment to ensure accuracy and proper working condition* Recommend improvements to machinery, equipment, and production processes to enhance safety and efficiency* Develop maintenance programs and suggest equipment replacement when necessary* Ensure compliance with Quality Management Systems (QMS) and Health & Safety procedures* Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager
Responsibilities + Skills
Education
* Minimum **35 years of experience** in a similar maintenance role within a manufacturing environment* Preferably experience in the steel industry** Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems* Proven ability to troubleshoot and repair industrial machinery* Good understanding of preventive maintenance practices* Ability to work independently and as part of a team* Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
