The organisation values innovation, integrity, and inclusivity, and is focused on building a safe, efficient, and digitally empowered workplace.Your new roleAs a Network Security Administrator, you will oversee and maintain Council’s network infrastructure and virtual server environment, including procurement, upgrades, and day-to-day operations of servers, SANs, firewalls, routers, switches, and related equipment.Key responsibilitiesDiagnose and resolve network and connectivity issues to minimise impact on business operations.Manage Council’s IT hardware and software, including installation, configuration, and support for devices such as computers, phones, printers, scanners, and modems.Safeguard the integrity and security of Council’s data, ensuring reliable backup and recovery processes for corporate systems and networks.Administer user access, account permissions, and controls across network and cloud-based systems.Monitor system performance and conduct network analysis to optimise speed, reliability, and availability.Provide technical support and guidance to IT team members, including helpdesk
