With a sufficient timezone overlap with the team, we’re able to hire eligible candidates for this role from any location in Australia and New Zealand.Build and ship highimpact Android features that let teams plan, track, and collaborate on the go. You’ll work closely with product, design, and other engineering squads to deliver a fast, reliable, and secure Android app that also incorporates new AIdriven capabilities.Responsibilities:Design, develop, and ship Android features using Kotlin; write clean, testdriven code.Optimize app performance (startup time, memory usage, network efficiency) and ensure high reliability through crash monitoring and robust error handling.Collaborate with Jira web, backend, and data teams to keep feature parity and consistent behavior across platforms.Implement and expand AIpowered functionalities (e.g., smart issue suggestions, automated task classification, predictive analytics) within the Android app.Maintain high test coverage with unit, integration, and UI tests (JUnit, Espresso); conduct code reviews and mentor peers.Influence Android architecture.Engage with customers via support tickets, community forums, and beta programs to prioritize work.Translate UX/UI designs into intuitive, accessible Android interfaces; run usability tests and iterate.Keep technical documentation, design docs, and onboarding guides uptodate; share knowledge through talks or Confluence pages.
