Job Description

We are currently seeking a Durability Warranty Engineer to join our Product Development team. This role will focus on enhancing vehicle durability through data-driven insights and proactive problem-solving.Reporting to the Durability Attribute Supervisor and working within a team of eight, this role requires the interrogation of real-world field issue data, in-house system-level data, and vehicle-level durability data to identify actionable insights to ensure our future vehicles stand the test of time.This is an on-site position based at our Proving Ground Site in Lara, Victoria. Main ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with test groups and vehicle testing areas to implement immediate solutions and enhance overall vehicle durability.Develop and maintain KPIs and insightful dashboards to track and demonstrate continuous improvement in durability performance.Partner with quality teams to extract and analyse field issue data related to durability.Understand system-level and vehicle-level attributes to identify durability-related issues.Possess a strong understanding of fatigue and the physics of static and dynamic loading systems.Translate customer insights into actionable engineering requirements.Identify process gaps and develop actionable plans for improvement.Lead the thorough resolution of engineering issues.Enhance durability metric reporting methods.
