Support the AP function and bring your experience to streamline the invoicing process.Your new companyThis well-respected construction company is planning for their workload into the New Year and looking to bring in additional support to their finance team.Your new roleSupporting the Accounts Payable function, you will be responsible for ensuring accuracy in the following duties:Processing of supplier invoicesDeveloping and maintaining AP transactionsCoding invoices accuratelyRespond to supplier queriesLiaise with site staff to obtain job-specific informationCross-training to provide back-up support to payrollYou will be encouraged to put a process in place to ensure accuracy and efficiency. You will also have the opportunity at times to assist the Payroll officer with data entry of timesheet information and checking allowances. This will enable you to provide cover when they take leave.What you'll need to succeedThe successful applicant will be organised, detail oriented and a team player with experience in a similar role and knowledge of Accounts Payable procedures.
